Uji matcha tea for making usucha (thin tea) and premium latte.
Origin: Kyoto Prefecture, Japan
An exceptionally pleasant, mild and slightly sweet, creamy matcha tea which is particularly sweet and more full-bodied than Samidori.
The full-bodied creaminess and lightness of its aftertaste lingers on the palate. Use 80-85°C water for the best results, as astringent flavours can appear in the tea at lower temperatures.
The meaning of Yomo no Kaori "四方の薫" :
"Yomo" (四方) means from all directions at once - west, east, north, south, right, left, front and back. Thus, "Yomo no Kaori" (where "kaori" means a good smell or fragrance) creates an image of a lovely aroma wafting in from all sides.
